Halloween Makuep! Zomie/Zombie Pin Up

     Scarey Zombie

Zombie Pin Up Girl
First I created a clean/blank canvas by "whiting" my face out with concealer. Its heavy duty and does the trick. I used Glamoflauge by Hard Candy. You can get it at Walmart for around $6.00

Then I took my Dinair airbrush and the color "Sage Green" and sprayed it all over my face. Concentrating more around my eyes, under my cheekbone and temples of forehead. the darker color helps to create the illusion that those parts of your face are sunken in... like a dead zombie person! You can create this affect by using other makeup, however I feel airbrush is quicker and lighter, and easier to manipulate.

Then I took just a plain matte black eyeshadow. You can use any black eyeshadow that you want. this one is from rimmel london. I just went over the concentrated darker areas, and enhanced them a bit further.
Next I took a black line as well as a darker better quality black eyeshadow (more pigmented) and went around my eyes... to be me a dark look around the eyes, and on my waterline so it showed no skin or pinkness. the eyeshadow is from MAC... I also recommend urban decay eyeshadow if you want to get a really pigmented eyeshadow. The eyeliner pencil is from wet n' wild.
Next I took mascara to cover of the makeup that I got on my eyelashes. I just want the black showing through. You also may notice that the black shadow that you use over the green makeup will take on a greenish black. that's OK! that's what you want! Now normally i would use fake blood, or you can even by fake flesh kits from a Halloween store... but this is for the "zombie on a budget"... so I used lip gloss for my blood. I found the one that squeezes out of the tube looks more like blood and you can manipulate it to look like its dripping like real blood.
To complete the look I airbrushed some white into my hair... to give it more of a old dead feel. I used "Opal White" airbrush makeup from Dinair.
For those of you who want to have a little fun with this look... you can turn it into a Zombie Pin Up Look. I had a little fun with this. I added red lipstick "Russian Red by MAC" and I even took some black liquid liner and drew some stitches in some areas. I also put some concealer and green airbrush on my chest. It all depends on your outfit and what part of your skin is exposed.

Halloween is all about having fun and enjoying the time of year. be creative! Costumes can be super expensive and its so eay to improvise and make your own costume at the fraction of the cost. Good Luck on Your Zombie look and have fun with it.
